Vegan Healthy Cinnamon Rolls


  • 1 small ripe banana
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup of unsweetened applesauce
  • 3-4 pitted dates
  • Cinnamon to taste
  • 2/3 cup of oat flour


1. Mash the banana and add in 1/8 cup of applesauce, then add in the oat flour. Mix together until a dough forms. It may need a little more if the dough is still sticky

2. Chop up the dates and mix the remaining unsweetened applesauce and rest of the ingredients.

3. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and add the date mixture on top. Roll up and cut into 2-3 inch pieces.

4. Put rolls on a greased pan and bake for 12-15 minutes


*Finely chop apples or nuts and add into the wet mixture*

*Vegan icing for on top: 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla + 1/2 scoop of vegan vanilla protein powder + 1/5 cup of milk alternative. Or you can top with some maple syrup or agave!*
